O-Town Walls schedules 14 new murals in Ontario

O-Town Walls Mural Fest will bring 14 new murals to downtown Ontario, California, from October 12 through October 17, 2026. According to the Orange County Register's October 6 report, artists will paint live over six days, with participants coming from countries including the Netherlands, Ireland and Spain.

O-Town Walls combines live painting with existing murals

The 2026 festival adds a new round of painting to a city that still holds work from the previous edition. The Orange County Register reports that 16 artists painted 17 murals in 2025 and that those works remain in Ontario. This year's 14 planned murals are a separate group, so the two figures describe different editions.

For someone following the painting process, that distinction offers a useful way to look around: identify which works are being made now and which belong to last year's festival. Record the year alongside the artist when that information is confirmed. An existing mural should not be described as a new commission simply because it appears during a festival visit.

The artist roster spans portraiture and abstraction

The festival's artist website describes a range of practices, rather than a single visual theme. CASE Maclaim, based in Frankfurt, Germany, is listed for photorealism, while BUBLEGUM, based in Lugo, Spain, is associated with ornamental realism. Dublin's ACHES is listed for RGB and glitch portraiture, and Rotterdam's Tymon de Laat for portraiture.

According to the same website, Royyal Dog is based in Seoul and Los Angeles and works in photorealistic portraiture. BKFoxx, from Long Island, New York, is listed for photorealistic spray painting. These descriptions provide points of comparison for viewers, but they do not establish what any artist will depict on a particular Ontario wall.

The website also identifies Naomi Haverland, with Denver roots, with 3D anamorphic and hyperreal work. Mr. June, based in Rotterdam, is listed for 3D geometry; Wing Chow, with roots in Richmond, Virginia, for biomorphic abstraction. A visitor interested in painted depth could use those descriptions to decide whose work to follow, while waiting for the actual wall assignments.

Wall locations will be published as they are released

The festival's official wall page is the place to check locations and artist assignments. According to the festival website, the 2026 wall map will carry details as they are released and serve as a live route during the event. The website has not yet assigned any named artist to a specific wall.

Other artists on the website include New York's Tom Bob, listed for urban interventions; Los Angeles-based Shane Grammer, for narrative murals; and Orange County's Zao One, for colorful spray-paint murals. Whitney Holbourn is listed with Tampa and Denver as bases and murals and mixed media as a practice. Floyd Mendoza is associated with Pasadena and Houston and with murals and live painting.

The festival website says its lineup is growing. Treat the published roster as a developing list, and keep the artist biographies separate from location information. Knowing that an artist is participating is useful; assuming that artist will paint a particular building is not supported by the announcement.

Evening events run on October 16 and 17

Block parties and a breakdancing competition are scheduled for 5–10 p.m. on both October 16 and October 17. The Orange County Register reports that live music and food for sale will accompany the events. Those hours describe the evening program, not a published work schedule for every muralist.

The report also directs readers to Instagram account @otownwalls_dto to follow progress. Use the updates alongside the official wall map when deciding what to see. A visit centered on unfinished painting and a visit centered on the evening activities can be planned around different parts of the same festival.

Confirmed artist credits make a more useful record

A useful mural record connects a location with a verified artist name and year. For Ontario, the reported presence of last year's murals makes the year particularly relevant. Visual observations about color, composition or depth can stand on their own without attributing an unannounced subject or intention to the artist.

For broader street-art browsing, use the Wallscape map alongside the festival's own location page. Keep the official festival route as the reference for 2026 wall assignments. That approach leaves room to compare existing work, watch new painting and attend the evening program without confusing the different schedules or editions.
